Isaiah Chapter 35

• Isaiah 35:1 The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose.
• 2 It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the LORD, and the excellency of our God.

This blessing shall flow our from the area of Israel unto the whole earth. Lebanon and Israel will be at peace. They shall prosper. They will see the glory of the Lord. Jesus Christ himself will be ruling. This will be the only successful reign of any and all who have tried to reign before Him. Peace at last. The weak will be made strong. Evil will be done away with. Israel really did blossom as rose in these latter days as we see but they are still surrounded by those that hate them and want to wipe them off the map. So that prophecy is true but not yet completely fulfilled until the Millennial reign of Jesus Christ.

• Isaiah 35:3 Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.
• 4 Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompense; he will come and save you.

Vengeance will be taken upon the enemies of God's people. This will be a time of salvation, healing, purity and peace. Rulers since the beginning of time. Nimrod, Nebuchadnezzar, Alexander the Great, Herod, Caesar, Nero, Hitler, Stalin, and those both in the past and future will not get away with anything. Nothing escapes the watchful eye of our God. Nothing.

Just think about it. No more abortion, no more pornography, no more filth, no more hatred, no more murder, no more rape, no more theft, no more lying politicians, no more throwing the bible out of schools, no more throwing out the name of Jesus Christ for His name will fill the whole earth. Every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. And indeed He will be Lord. Lawsuits and the legal profession will not have any power to stop it. They may  rant and rave against God and His people now but in the future they will bow the knee to the God they rejected.

I read in the paper a few years ago that a judge in Canada has ruled that child pornography is a protected right of free speech and ruled against those that were trying to protect children against such evil.

It made me sick to my stomach. Everything is turned around. We are calling evil good and good evil. One day this will be no more.

• Isaiah 35:5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.
• 6 Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.

The blind, deaf, sick and afflicted will be healed physically, mentally and spiritually. The crippled man will walk the dump shall speak. What a glorious time it will be. I want to be part of this. I long for the coming of Jesus Christ. Jesus did do this at His first coming and believers in Jesus that are full of the Holy Spirit can be used of God to heal the sick but it is limited to those that fast and pray and walk continually with the Lord. When Jesus reigns though and Satan is bound 1000 years, there will not be anything hindering physical healing.

• Isaiah 35:7 And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.
• 8 And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.

There is to be a literal highway. There will be peace between Egypt, Israel and Syria. A highway will be built and they will be at peace. No peace treaty before can do this. It will be done when Jesus Christ reigns on the earth. Uncleanness and ungodliness will have no place in that kingdom.

• Isaiah 35:9 No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there:

This peace will even effect the beasts. Wild animals will not harm anyone. The redeemed shall walk there. Redeemed are those that have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ, which He shed on the cross for all who would believe and receive Him. Faith in Christ now is what will enable you to be partaker of the coming Kingdom of God. We can have this kingdom in our hearts by faith now but it is coming literally in the future.

• Isaiah 35:10 And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

Israel who at last has found the Lord and all others that have received Jesus the Christ are called ransomed here. Someone paid a ransom for us to obtain the kingdom of God. This does not come free. Someone had to pay for sins. Sin cannot enter the coming Kingdom, so someone had to get rid of sins. The only way to rid human beings of sin is to let the shed blood of Jesus Christ cover them. We must acknowledge that we have sinned and are in need of a savior. Then we repent of sin and decide that we do not want the old life of sin any longer.  We turn over our lives to Jesus Christ, asking forgiveness of sin. His blood will cleanse us from all sin. We then become literally born again by the Spirit of God. This is the "New Birth" spoken about in the New Testament. His Spirit then literally comes into our lives to abide with us forever. Amen.

At His Second Coming those that have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus will reign with Him over all the earth. No more death, sorrow or crying. Joy, gladness, and peace will prevail. DC
