Psalm Chapter 127A Song of degrees for Solomon.
Ah, if only we could get this through our thick heads. All our big cities, multitudes of universities, fancy church buildings, great military power, powerful Senate, judges and Congressional leaders, are all for nothing if God isn't our foundation. All will perish. If only our eyes could be open for on minute to see how vain life is without God as our pilot. We need Him more than we can ever imagine. Yet we see so many ignore His word, make light of His teachings and go about their lives in the dark, completely in the dark, not knowing that at any moment their life could be snatched away and they could plunge into eternity without God and lost forever. Those that preach repentance, godly love, holiness and truth are mocked, ridiculed and even persecuted. Those that risk their lives in foreign countries to warn of the lost condition of mankind and to tell of the salvation of Jesus Christ are often persecuted. I read recently that the multitudes of Christians are killed every year yet it goes unreported in the main stream media. Natural disasters are increasing in alarming numbers yet no one wants to heed the warning signals to repent and turn back to our creator. It is now mid November 2025. A few years later than when I first wrote this article. Natural disasters are even worse now than then. I fear most of all for the United States because we know better. We have known the gospel, the love of God, prosperity and have had bible preachers in our cities, on TV and bibles in every bookstore. Yet we continue with our abortion, our sexual immorality, our adultery, removing God from our schools, and calling evil good and good evil. To make is clear where I stand. I believe in Jesus the Son of God as the only way to obtain salvation. I believe He was raised from the dead and is at the right hand of God the Father awaiting the time when He will return to gather His faithful saints and then bring the saints with Him to set up His kingdom on earth. At the end of the 1000 years will be the 2nd resurrection and judgment of all people that ever lived upon the earth. I believe in the bible as the word of God written by men inspired by the Holy Spirit. I believe that sin separates us from God and all of us have sinned or broken God's law at one time or another. I believe that unless we repent (turn to Jesus for salvation and confess Him as Lord) allowing Him to cleanse us from all sin, that we will be lost eternally in a place called hell. I believe this because that is what is written in the bible I read on a daily basis. Whether or not one believes it, doesn't change the words. I believe that the bible makes it clear what is sin and what is righteousness. Leaving God's commandments and His divine order for marriage, we have brought confusion and evil into our society which will eventually destroy us. We now are having a big problem with pedophilia. Who would believe that some even want sex with children legalized. They target children because they are less likely to have deadly diseases. So selfish are we if we allow children to be exploited like that. Yet when society allows the killing of the unborn babies, it isn't long until we get so depraved that we allow anything someone decides is their right. All who do these things and other things contrary to the word of God and ignore salvation through Jesus Christ will be lost. All who come to Christ with a willing heart to forsake sin and accept His deliverance from sin will be saved. There is no sin that we can't overcome by the power of Jesus Christ. That was the reason Jesus came to us. He came to pay the price for all of our sins and make us righteous in the sight of God so that we can inherit the kingdom of God and have eternal life. If we ignore this and refuse to turn from sin, we will be lost. This includes murder, rape, stealing, adultery, idolatry, sexual sin, or breaking of the moral law of God. We can't claim Jesus as the Lord and then continue in these sins. It will not work. Why would Jesus have had to die for our sins if we are going to believe in Him and then continue in the same sins having no change in our lives? If we can enter heaven full of sin, then Jesus would not have had to die. By ourselves we cannot keep from sin or breaking the law of God. We need help. When we receive Jesus as savior and Lord, He gives us power. We become born again by His spirit and that Spirit will abide with us continually to put God's law in our hearts so that we do not want to sin. However, if we know these things and willfully turn back to sin refusing to repent, how can we possibly enter into the kingdom of God. Either we have not really been saved or born again or else we have yielded to the lie of the enemy of our souls and have deceived ourselves into thinking we can receive Christ and still break the moral laws of God without consequence. Beloved fellow human beings, I cry and plead with you. It is not hate to warn people of the wrath of God against sin. It is not hate to warn those that live contrary to God's holiness in relationships and marriage, that he or she is hurting themselves, their loved ones and their eternal souls. It is not hate to warn the alcoholic that he could die of a liver disease, kill an innocent family when he drives drunk. It is not hate to warn people that abortion is the murder of an innocent life. It is not hate to warn that we have responsibilities to our elderly parents and grandparents. I would be showing more hate if I patted everyone on the back and say, "Your only human, your okay." We cannot just speak of Jesus' love and ignore His words to the churches in Revelation. God is a God of love and that is why He sent us His only Son to save us. He allowed His own Son to suffer a horrible death paying the penalty for breaking the law even though He did not break that law. He paid that penalty for us. Yes He loves but if we deliberately ignore His words, persecute and kill His prophets, and mock His servants, we will suffer His wrath and judgment.
Children are a gift from God. They are a reward, not a burden. We live in a day where abortion is permitted if a baby is unwanted. We've gone so far as to allow the baby to be taken even if it is just ready to be born. Instruments are driven in the baby's head to kill it before leaving the womb of its mother. It's a shame on the face of the earth what we have become in the great United States of America. All this is done by physicians who desire money above doing what is right. Money is surely the root of all evil. Since writing this paragraph, their are some believe it or not that want an unwanted baby that is born alive, to be allowed to die and not cared for. Money will perish with us, it will not buy us eternal life. Jewish people were killed during Hitler's holocaust because he wanted a better economy and he wanted to create a master race. Money and wealth drove those people to co-operate with Hitler. It didn't have anything to do with blaming them for killing Christ. That was just an excuse. Most sins are caused by greed, selfishness and a desire to have a good time without any responsibility for our actions. God has prepared a place where there will be no sickness, no sorrow, no poverty, no hurt, no sin and no death. This is really what He desired for all of us before the fall of Adam and Eve. Eternal life was His plan in the beginning. He created us with a free will to choose though. We are not puppets. We can accept His gift of salvation or ignore it. If we ignore Jesus the Christ, there is nothing else God can do to save us. We will die in our sins and be lost forever. We don't have to do that though.
This is a good way. It is a way out of the mess we get in. It is love, it is joy, it is peace. It is good. God wants us to be blessed and happy. We make ourselves miserable when we ignore His help.
If you do not want your sins exposed, if you do not want to change your life, then you will hate those that preach the gospel. That is why the so many fight so hard to get rid of every mention of God in public. As soon as they succeed in that, they will start rooting out our private worship. They hate the gospel because they want to continue in sin and not be reminded that they are lost sinners. That is why Jesus' own people rejected Him. They wanted a conquering king, not someone to tell them that they needed to repent of sin. It is because many do not want anyone telling them that they needed to change. They want us to tell them that they are okay the way they are. They want us to lie to them. This is an unpopular message but it will save the soul from death and give eternal life to as many as receive Jesus Christ and His salvation.
Beloved because I love God and love souls, I must tell the truth no matter who gets mad. I want to see many receive eternal life and live forever. We don't have to die in sin. We can live unto righteousness. We can live godly in Christ Jesus. We can be free from sin and born again by the spirit of almighty God. AMEN -DC
